"Engaged Timberworx for the measure, supply and install of shelving. The shelves were too small for the space and required additional gap filler on one side which detracts from the overall look. The install team also put one shelf in the wrong spot (out by over 70mm) and left poorly filled holes when they moved it to the correct spot (after asking if they could leave it where it was). Language was a barrier with the install team, and whilst not insurmountable, it does make communication about the job more difficult. When contacting Timberworx after the install to highlight some of the errors of the job, they were very disinterested in the feedback and sought purely to defend their install team despite having no working knowledge of how the actual install progressed. Upon me mentioning the shelf in the incorrect position, Timberworx suggested (in defence of their install team) that there must have been a miscommuncation....nope! The gap is 2100mm high, each shelf is 70mm thick (there are 3), which leaves 4 gaps of 472.5mm. Two of the shelves were correctly in place when the third one was incorrectly placed - this was a mistake plain and simple. Whilst mistakes are ok when dealt with appropriately, dismissing them out of hand immediately is not. They did offer to come and repair the holes after my complaint, but after seeing the quality of the install, I think I will do it myself. I have previously used Timberworx for the supply of wood products and the quality has been acceptable, but I would advise anyone considering using their installation service to proceed with caution.....or perhaps just find someone else."

"I purchased a custom made 2.2m spotted gum TV unit from Timberworx. I am very happy with the quality and the specifications are exact to my requirements. Customer service from Robert was great. He was very knowledgeable and responded to emails promptly. Build was complete within the stated time frame of 4-8 weeks. Upon 1st attempt of delivery, the drivers noticed a defect inside one of the cabinets and refused to deliver the product. Although I was disappointed, I commend the delivery guys for making this decision and ensuring I was getting a quality product. The cabinet doors were slightly out of alignment. This was no issue as it was promptly fixed within a week of receiving the unit. Delivery guys were careful in not marking any walls or damaging the unit when installing. A few days before the product was delivered I was given a timeframe between 6-8pm. I received a call at 2:30pm that day to say that the delivery drivers were at my home. This was quite an inconvenience to me given I had a busy day planned and was over an hour away. I would have appreciated a heads up earlier that day so I could plan accordingly rather than having to rush home. I had also given one of my lamp tables to Timberworx as a basis for the colour I was after. A few days before delivery I texted TImberworx to make sure this was also going to be part of the delivery to which they confirmed it was already in the truck. The lamp table was not in the truck as well as some cabinet shelves which they forgot to install. The lamp table and installation of the shelves were delivered within a week of receiving the unit. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase from Timberworx and recommend that if you are looking for a high quality piece of furniture to visit their showroom. I would have given 5 starts but the delivery organisation has some room for improvement."
