You will be surprised just how much is on offer here at Empire on Hudson street in Hamilton (just opposite Aldi and Curves).Heaps of ideas. "I often leave praise but have never been motivated to leave any sort of negative feedback until today. The way I was treated by the assumed owner was appalling! I had parked in one of two Empire reserved car parks out the front of the store with the intention of purchasing some rugs/mats for our new house. Firstly I had to drop my son to a 3:30 tutoring session across the road and returned to the store just after 4. When entering the store I was asked about my car and informed that I had been parked there for 45 minutes and that the store owner had proof/photo. I questioned the timing and then asked if she’d like me to move the car to which she replied, yes?! After moving my car I returned to the store bewildered. For the future, I’d like to remind the owner that as she stated, the car park is private property and therefore, it is illegal to take photos or film someone without their permission. Secondly, advise that it makes absolutely no sense to ask a potential paying customer to leave! I think it is ridiculous that the owner was more focused on a car park then accommodating my shopping needs in a pleasant welcoming environment. Sadly, I would now rather pay $50 in freight to buy the same or similar product online then buy from this local business."
