"I’ve been a weekly patron of the Mayfield WW liquor shop for 16 years and today I experienced BWS Mayfield new spirit cabinets. These cabinets made me, a 50 year old: a) ask permission to remove a bottle of spirits from a cabinet, b) feel like a thief (16 years x $200 p/w, like 99% of customers paying for purchases) and c) reassess the “convenience shopping local (you, BWS, were already charging $54 vs Dans $42). See you later BWS, Dans home delivery is $6.95 to my door and the new Mayfield Coles will have a Liquorland that, like Dans, security tag their spirits."
"Good location, no worries about parking. Items are in stock mostly, fairly priced. Friendly staff and you don't need to wait longer."
"Rude middle aged sourpuss on a power trip tonight. In and out for less than 2 mins and she asks to check my empty (bar wallet) bag and then my grocery bag. I'm there twice a week, as she whinges about how she hates her work, being understaffed and customers. Hope she felt better feeling stupid checking my bags with nothing unexpected in them, just lost a regular, thankfully there are three other nearby options. A word of advice, maybe customer service isn't for you if you feel the need to be so whiny and rude to everybody."
