"Our room was recently redecorated, so was lovely...aside from the wrenching smell of sewerage after the shower was,used, which permeated the room all night (even with the door closed), was nauseating . Also, a jackhammer was resonating doing upgrades from morning till 4.30ish....some prior knowledge of this would have been helpful. Light shines through the gaps in the door to the hall....so is OK if you like to sleep like you're in a stadium! We put pillows and blanket around the door to block as much light as we could. Super handy to an awesome restaurant with delicious food though!"
"3 night stay for our 14 person lawn bowling team. Reception staff and room service staff were excellent. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and modern. The hotel and restaurant is fantastic. Great food at good prices and a great pub with atmosphere. Will be back for sure."
"Went for dinner on a Saturdaynight and prebooked. Got there at 5:45 and it was packed. There was a huge line-up to order. They were very busy but eventually managed to get the meals out. The food was reasonably priced and tasted fine. There was a generous enough serving and everyone enjoyed the birthday dinner."
"Had a lovely meal with the family for Easter. I thought I would try something different so I ordered the Tuscan sausage with mash potatoes with fried onion and veg. I really enjoyed it. My grandsons had the prawn and chorizo pasta. It was a very generous portion. Tasted great as well."
