Welcome to Gaswork Cottages and B&B, located in the picturesque town of Strathalbyn, Australia. Situated on the banks of the tranquil Angas River, this charming establishment was once the town's Gasworks and has been lovingly restored into beautiful and comfortable fully self-contained cottages.
Our heritage buildings have garnered recognition, being featured in the Lonely Planet Wine Tours of Australia and New Zealand Book. We are proud to be one of only two accommodations selected in the Fleurieu region by Lonely Planet for this esteemed global publication.

"Best stay ever! Congenial and helpful hosts, lovely characterful cottage fitted with everything you need including the kitchen, fridge and cupboards stocked with yummy goodies including fresh eggs, bacon, tomato and bread for breakfast (which we ate outside overlooking the gardens. Tim tams for snacking, fresh milk, nothing but for several days of great breakfasts. Quality body wash etc in the bathroom and lush towels, super comfy bed with electric blankets. Hmm, don’t think we’ll leave."
