"Amazing little cottage very close to the village centre, single bedroom with spa bath and shower, lovely little outside area and all the facilities you could want. Can be a bit cold in the middle of winter but the various heaters and gas (bottled) fire keep the place cosy. The owner, Mike, is extremely friendly and helpful."

"Why live at a hotel, with flunkies running hither and thither, no one interested in what you need to tell them? Why live at a motel in a box, 4mX4m, with a bathroom 2.5mX2.5m? In Reception there's no one interested in what you need to tell them. Come up, to Oats, Hahndorf. Music wafts from the radio. Birds call from trees in the garden. One street removed from main road but quiet as a country lane. Every fixture and facility more than suffices. The guest books tell you that you've arrived at your favourite holiday venue."
