Reviews of Red Hill Nature Reserve
"Beautiful place for visit. With family its best to go early morning or sunset. There is plenty of parking available near redhill cafe which is closed at moment. Public toilet is behind the cafe area. Davidson Hill Trigonometrical Station look out is a must go place to see canberra and surrounding but not suitable for old people or who has problem in walking because its around 500mts from car park and its to steep in some place. One of the good place for trail/hiking."
"Great venue for trail running, walking and exploring to see the views if you're interested in elevation. You can certainly find a lot of hilly sections in this area. Regards @runningfysio"
"Excellent views to the Woden Valley on the southside and every CBR landmark on the other straight across to Mt Pleasant. Check it out!"
"We are extremely lucky to back onto Red Hill Reserve, so it is our regular walking place. Usually lots of kangaroos, an echidna etc but what we really love is the ease of getting off the main tracks into the Eucalypt forests. Sometimes quite demanding walking, steep, slippery but great exercise. Hard to believe this beautiful bushland is so close to a city!"
"Amazing spot to see the whole of Canberra, especially early in the morning to see sunrise in peace with the kangaroos. You can walk from the bottom or drive up to the car park at the top next to the café if you prefer. You can then take a moment to see an almost 360 degree view of Canberra and the surrounding suburbs from a unique perspective almost in the middle of the city."
