"Mount Barker & Balhannah Medical Centre is an exceptional clinic. Dr Jacqui Wagner has been outstanding with my pregnancy and postpartum care. She is friendly, personable, highly skilled, thorough and allows time for asking questions. On a recent visit, my baby saw a different doctor who was equally as caring, validating my concerns for my daughter. I was even offered a room to breastfeed her after my appointment before leaving the clinic; another nurse offered me water and generally just made me feel so welcome and cared for as a new mum. The reception staff are always welcoming and friendly."

"My infant daughter has had a runny nose for over a week post viral infection, not covid. I called to make sure this wasn't going to be an issue and was told it should be fine, I'd just need to wait in the car until the appointment on the day. On the day of the appointment we waited in the car for over an hour (baby getting cold, tired and hungry) and were eventually made to have the appointment outside in the rain. I really needed one thing looked at for her, so I asked if we could focus on this one issue, but it was a lengthy inspection including undressing her outside in the rain. I'm quite angry that we weren't just told to reschedule at any point, and that my baby was put through this experience."

"I visited this clinic 3 times, the first two times were my lovely, the Doctors were warm and thorough. The last time, will be my last visit. I went regarding a very emotional physical issue, I saw Dr Chen and was told it happens to most people and they wouldn't investigate it. I pushed for some testing and had to call four times before I could get my results. I was told that despite my blood tests being back it might be a few days before someone could get to it. A week later I went for an ultrasound and when I called up a week for my results, the words given were 'Vanessa, you need to understand we are a very busy clinic. It's up to you to call us if you want to know your results, we don't have the time to call our patients.' It's left me in tears. This may be the case, but it definitely could be said in a kind and compassionate manner."
