"Horrible customer service here. The tall man with brown hair in skinny jeans working was incredibly rude to us. He had attitude from the start and after we told him he was being hasty and rough with the haircut, he said he would ‘smash every bone in our body’ and continued to get aggressive. Completely unprofessional and nasty behaviour. Thank you to the nice assistant who tried to stand up for us."
"All round bad experience. The haircut looks terrible, is uneven and not what I asked for. Would be nice if the barber didn't smell like an ashtray whilst cutting people's hair. At the end, I asked the barber to keep the part I had and he responded, "that's your job". You're a barber mate....that's what your customers pay you for."

"We took our three-and-a-half-year-old son to the Majura Park branch in Canberra to get his haircut. We have previously taken our children to the Civic Centre branch and had very positive experiences there. This was our first time visiting this branch as we happened to be shopping at Costco and wanted to give this location a chance. However, we were deeply disappointed. We were assigned a hairdresser, and right from the start, their attitude towards us was extremely poor. Our son tends to lean forward involuntarily due to sensitivity to the electric clippers. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, they rudely pulled him back forcefully and pressed his head down with excessive force to keep him still. We understand that cutting the hair of young children can be challenging, as some kids can be more active and require extra patience and gentleness. As parents, we appreciate and respect all hairdressers who take care of our children's hair as he sometimes is not really still, and we always cooperate the hairdressers to let them do the cutting more efficiently. However, this experience left us extremely angry and frustrated. If you feel that you don't have the patience or kindness to cut the hair of young children, it would be better to apologize and suggest waiting for another available hairdresser or even suggest us to another hair dresser shop. We would understand, as everyone has their preferences and tolerance, just like some hairdressers specialize in cutting men's or women's hair only. However, since you accepted our appointment, we only expected a satisfactory service, or at least a sense of professionalism. We are unsure if this was discrimination towards us or if this hairdresser treats everyone in the same manner, or if they simply had a bad day. Regardless of the reason, as a service industry professional, personal preferences or emotions should not be brought into the workplace. This is the most basic professional ethics. During the haircut, I did make a polite request for a gentle approach, but it only resulted in being ordered to control my son's head. We don’t want to complain while we were there and we still paid for the visit even we were not satisfied because we avoided conflicts especially with the kids around. However, this doesn’t mean that we don’t have any dissatisfaction. On the other hand, honestly speaking, the hairdresser's technical skills were quite good, but we will not be returning as we were treated badly. We hope that you can make some improvements in terms of allowing hairdressers to have more discretion in their personal preferences for cutting hair, rather than feeling dissatisfied and obligated to accept every random appointment, which creates inconvenience for both parties.
