"On entering we thought the pub had classed up. Looked great! We ordered a range of Chicken schnitzels and different toppings. They were delicious. Daughter ordered off kids menu. A Cheeseburger and this was a hunk of tasteless meat and very very pink inside. We went to the bathroom, nice and clean but both soap dispensers were broken. I gather the business does not know about temporary dispensers… We were there for part of a celebration and wanted to sit for a bit after meal. We were considering dessert but with no one coming to clear our table, as we did have entrees and mains, it was getting a bit crowded and we did not feel looked after."

"Went in at about 630 on a Friday night and the place was packed. We managed to get lucky and find a table. Ordered some food, a steak, grilled salmon and lamb cutlets. Everything was fantastic and despite the crowds we had been served and finished eating within 45 minutes of sitting down. The staff are a well oiled machine. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Would recommend."

"I had the vegetarian pizza and the vegetarian pasta. The vegetarian pasta was very ordinary. They literally just boiled pasta and combined with vegetables with no sauce. The pizza was better. It tasted like they handmade the dough."

"Came to Royal Hotel whilst in town for work. A very modern hotel with plenty of room! Massive menu of great pub foods. Had the load parmi which was brilliant! Portion size was massive and really reasonably priced. Food was out very quickly! Big selection of drinks and staff were super friendly! Not a lot of parking but just down the street there is a big car park so it’s only a short walk. All in all would highly recommend!"
