Reviews of Mount Tennent Summit
"Amazing walk. So many stairs. Great trail with many high lights. 2.5 hours up and a little under 2 hours down. Bit over 14km. Register your walk across the road from the visitors centre. Weather can be unpredictable. 60% chance of "
"Brutal walk but one if my favourites. The views are spectacular and the new section to the top is fantastic. Highly recommended it!"
"A Great hike from Namadji Visitors centre. It can be steep in places and flat on others. Pack plenty of food, water and warm clothes in the cooler months. It can take you around 2.5 hours to reach the summit. If you take the fire trail to the top it may be a grueling slog to the top. The Namadji visitor centre has snacks, ice cream and both hot and cold drinks available. There are toilets both inside and outside the visitor centre. Otherwise there are plenty of trees and bish scrub along the way."
"Absolutely stunning walk up to the summit! Took our family with two younger kids around 3.5 hours, but the views and terrain are definitely worth it! Paths are well marked, but note when it rains there are spots that become quite muddy. With good hiking shoes you will be fine. There is ample parking at the Namadgi Visitors Centre, as well as a BBQ and some tables for picnics too! I attached lots of photos of the trail up as well to provide a view of what you are in for. If you live your bushwalking this one is a strong recommend from me!"
"I stopped few times going up, its a long way to the top and long way to bottom as well. Although I found few extremely fit people running up and down. Also, found a family doing this trail with kid, met them in between. This trail is amazing, I like this one, coz its actually lil bit difficult. Reaching to the top and stopping by as watching the landscape was amazing. I would strongly recommend people who love hiking."
