Welcome to Housing SA, an establishment and local government office located in Elizabeth, South Australia. We are dedicated to working with our customers, the housing and homelessness sector, and the broader community to provide better housing opportunities for all South Australians.

One of our key initiatives is the Taskforce, which ensures that discussions and decision-making are guided by older women with lived experience. We believe in enabling lived experience voices to shape our strategies and policies.

We also provide opportunities for individuals to train for meaningful employment in building industry trades. We understand the importance of skill development and strive to support individuals in achieving their career goals.

HomeSeeker SA, a state government initiative, is designed to reduce housing stress by assisting more South Australians in buying their own homes or accessing affordable private rentals. We are committed to making home ownership possible for more people by connecting eligible buyers with exclusively available homes.

At Housing SA, we are dedicated to improving housing for all Aboriginal South Australians. We recognize the importance of providing culturally appropriate and safe housing options for Aboriginal communities.

In times of crisis, we offer emergency information and support for individuals experiencing domestic violence or in need of emergency shelter. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home.

Our institution also provides access to a wide variety of social housing and other information, including resources for current Housing SA tenants. We strive to ensure that individuals have access to the information they need to make informed housing decisions.

At Housing SA, we believe that safe housing is a fundamental right. If you come across a substandard property, you can report it to the Housing Safety Authority. We are committed to ensuring that all properties meet the necessary safety standards.
