"King Charles III Birthday celebrations including pymble ladies cadets"
"A beautiful house set in the Botanical Gardens. It is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Tickets are free but are provided on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are available from the Gatehouse, which is next to the main gate. You need ID when registering for the tour. For tourists, this means your passport. On the day I went, the house had been opened to celebrate the coronation of King Charles, so I did not do the tour. I was able to see a number of tge fountains rooms and the gardens. Staff were happy to discuss the rooms and answer any questions. The tours accommodate the needs of people who have a disability. This includes people with vision loss or blindness. Uou are added to advise the guides at the time of booking of your needs."
"On Sunday we visited Government House, a building steeped in history with a beautiful garden and a fantastic view of Sydney Bay. The friendly and competent guide explained the function and furnishings of the rooms with great attention to detail. After the tour, we had a great surprise: a spontaneous, no less interesting private tour, thank you very much!"
"A hidden gem in Sydney surrounded by beautiful Sydney Botanical Garden. Constructed between 1837 and 1843, the property has been the vice-regal residence of the Governor of NSW. The house is open to guided tours only. Free entry on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Upon arrival, register at entrance building and they will let you in through the free, guided tour. Tours are available from 9 am to 3 pm. Tour duration is 30-40 min. The tour guide was amazing, giving us much information about the building and its history. Highly recommended!!! Don’t miss it."
"Beautiful location, wonderful grounds and gardens and if you're lucky you can catch a glimpse of an ongrounds band playing music all whilst overlooking Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and the Botanic Gardens. An often overlooked treasure, highly recommended to visit."
