About the Business
Welcome to the CGS Early Learning Centre, located in Red Hill, Alexander Street, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for young learners.
At the CGS Early Learning Centre, we believe in fostering curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion in our students. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to supporting the development of well-rounded individuals who are prepared to become active and engaged citizens of the world.
To give you a glimpse into our school, we invite you to explore our interactive virtual tour. From the comfort of your own home, you can discover our wonderful school and grounds, allowing you to see firsthand the engaging learning spaces we have to offer.
We are proud of our school's rich academic, sporting, social, and artistic history, and we are excited about the future. Our strategic plan, guided by our purpose, vision, values, and mission, sets the foundation for our continued growth and success. By our centenary in 2029, we strive to be the school that we aspire to be.
We also take pride in celebrating the achievements of our students and staff members. Congratulations to Lucy from Year 12 for achieving her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. Lucy's dedication to personal growth, community service, and fitness is truly commendable. Through her involvement in netball, painting, and volunteering at the Australian Museum, Lucy has demonstrated her commitment to making a positive impact in her community. We look forward to her receiving her Gold Award from the Governor-General at Government House later this year.
We are also thrilled to announce that CGS staff member Olivia Gurney has been selected to represent Australia in the Women's Futsal National NSDF Tournament in Thailand. This opportunity to compete against teams from around the world is a testament to Olivia's talent and dedication. We wish her the best of luck in the tournament and commend her on her achievements.
In addition to academic and sporting endeavors, we value the importance of fostering a love for literature and creativity. Our recent Book Week celebrations were a huge success, with parades, costume competitions, and trivia challenges engaging students across all year levels. We would like to express our gratitude to all who contributed to making this week memorable and to the students who put in tremendous effort to create fantastic costumes.
Finally, as an International Baccalaureate World School, we are committed to providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of the modern world. We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the ACT, the Ngunnawal people, and their ongoing contribution to our community.
