"I love visiting this place! So much fun exploring the history of our country and its free! Great experts there to answer your questions too!"
"This place is only opened on weekends as it's managed by volunteers. It's a historic building with many things trying to give it a feel of the period and residents."
"Quite a small historic cottage adjacent to Lake Burley Griffin, with opening and tours on Saturday only (10:00 to 14:00). Whilst the house and tours are only open and available on Saturday, we were able to see most of the inside of the cottage through the windows, given how small the cottage was. A few information boards scattered around the area, and a tour may be able to provide additional information about the cottage."
"Good -Historic old Australian house. -Owner moved out at 1962 but still didn't have electricity. -Monday to Friday 0730 - 1800 2hrs free carpark. -Very friendly staff.- Bad -Free carpark is full most of time. -Disable not friendly which is understandable."
"Yep. Pretty nice park x the kids. It's small but has some enjoyable games and "rides". Something that drew my attention was the hydraulic bar lift. My children were amazed by it. Recommended!"
