Welcome to the Transport Canberra Lost Property Office, located at Scollay Street in Greenway, Australia. As a local government office and point of interest, we are dedicated to helping you recover your lost belongings in a timely manner.

If you have lost an item on our buses or at bus stations, rest assured that it will be sent to our Lost Property Office at Tuggeranong Bus Depot. To report a lost item on the light rail, please visit Canberra Metro Operations and follow the links to submit a lost property notification.

To assist us in locating your lost item, please complete our lost property form. Our diligent staff will conduct a thorough search and notify you if or when your item is found. Please note that it may take a day or two for your lost item to be located and received by our office, as we deal with hundreds of lost items each week.

Once your item has been located, you can collect it from the Lost Property Office at Tuggeranong Depot on Scollay Street, opposite Officeworks. Our office is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.00pm, but please wait for confirmation that your lost property has been found before visiting.

When claiming your lost item, please bring along photographic identification and/or proof of purchase, as Transport Canberra retains full discretion on whether to release the item. The closest bus stop to our office is on Scollay Street, and there is on-street parking available with a signposted pathway leading to our location.

We kindly request that you collect your lost property within three months, as we generally keep items for this duration. However, hazardous, unhygienic, and perishable items cannot be stored and will be disposed of accordingly. In some cases, unclaimed items may be donated to charitable organizations.
