Offe Jewellers

"I bought a bracelet from Offe back in January. Within a month of wearing it it broke. I returned it to Offe and was told they will send it off and either repair or replacement, and that they would let me know when it's ready for collection - about 3 weeks. I got the text message to let me know my jewelry was ready for collection. I went in today to pick it up to be told that because we bought it on sale I now need to pay the difference?! It was never communicated to me that there would/could be a difference to pay on collection. I was under the understanding that it was going off on warranty will be fixed. It was never communicated to me that there'd be any excess to pay otherwise I would have just got a refund/store credit for the item. I am not confident that the second bracelet won't break in the same way, so why on earth would I want to pay MORE for the same thing?? Not impressed with a store credit but better than paying extra for something I'm not 100% convinced won't break again I suppose. This was my first time buying anything from Offe Jewellers, and I can say it certainly will be the last."

"Staff are friendly enough however the services are insanely overpriced. I was quoted $80 to change a G Shock watch's batteries. I was told it was $20 per battery and G Shocks have two, then because they are a "complex" watch to get into (the staff gestured to the 4 screws on the back) that was an additional charge of $20 per battery, despite only having to undo those 4 screws once, not once per battery. I could not accept paying $5 per screw to be undone let alone $10 per screw. I clarified with the staff member multiple times who confirmed she'd worked there 3 years and was certain the quote was correct. Needless to say I declined and walked 10 steps to Mister Minit and paid $26 total for the service instead of $80. No fuss and easy"

"I was very happy with the service I received on Monday at Offe Jewellers, Mt Barker. I was looking at an item but had to wait on friends responses as it was a joint gift. The lovely sales person suggested I put it on hold. 15 minutes later I was back in there, happy with the knowledge that the item had been held."
