We advise you to exercise caution on uneven and wet terrain and ensure that you are equipped with sturdy boots and appropriate clothing for your comfort and safety.

In addition to the captivating rock features, some of which have been formed over 400 million years ago, the landscape is adorned with snow gums and black sallee trees, unique discaria shrubs, and vibrant yellow billy buttons. Keep your eyes peeled for grey kangaroos bounding in the distance and wedge-tail eagles gracefully circling overhead. Fishing enthusiasts will also delight in the opportunity to try their luck catching trout in the waterholes along Cave Creek before returning to the starting point at Blue Waterholes campground.

Reviews
"Beautiful, adventurous, and just under 5 km. There are multiple river crossings and make sure you have 2 pair of shoes. I highly recommend crossing the river wearing shoes."
"Great walk, saw plenty of trout. there’s a cave near the top of the waterfall, no access without serious gear and skills, appears to have significant flow through it."
"Bring water shoes (it's frigid). The trail crosses the creek several times and you won't want to linger in it. Follow the trail for 2 km to the waterfall then turn back. Encountered a tiger snake and tons of lizards along the trail in early March"
"A relatively easy 2km hike through a spectacular gorge with an amazing waterfall at the end. It requires crossing the creek several times. When the water is above the steppingstones the rocks are very slippery, it is far easier to cross the creek by leaving your hiking boots on."
