"Gibraltar Falls is an absolutely amazing spot. The sound you hear from the falls is AWESOME, just the power and force of water is stunning in itself....People DO need to follow the SAFTEY SIGNS through"
"The weather was very lovely on the day we decided to go on a hike to Gibraltar peak. Our group chose a route with a rather mild difficulty. As someone who has done remarkably difficult routes back in my country, I couldn't help but be disappointed at how tame the route was. The walking path was generously wide throughout the trek and there were only two or three short parts with rocky uphills. I swear this route would feel more adventurous on a mountain bike rather than walking. Also, the peak itself was rather disappointing because the trail ends very abruptly and you are left on top of / side of two or three large boulders. The views from the boulders are definitely nice though. If you are someone who is used to mountainous, hilly or high altitude terrain, then you might be disappointed with this hike. Otherwise, if you are more used to the city / beach life, this might be a solid getaway."
"Wonderful walk from the Dalsetta Car Park, took around three hours return at a moderate pace. Track is well marked and safe, we took our children along and it was fine. Views from the top are stunning. We took lunch up and I would strongly recommend that! There is a public toilet in the Dalsetta Car Park for before and after your hike! A recommend from me!"
"Phenomenal view from the top of Gibralter. Well worth the climb not that it is a very long hike (about 1.5 hours to the top, and 1 hour back down). It is steepest at the start where the horse shoe bends are at the beginning of the climb so take your time, and then it levels off for a while until you're much closer to the top."
