"Do not use. They will promise you the world and deliver nothing, and then charge you ridiculously for it."
"Disappointing experience with attempted drafting of a will. In part due to recent staff changes at their Canberra office but when I arrived to sign the will I was made to wait for 40 minutes (despite the appointment), then told by the lawyer who was flown in from Brisbane that the documents they had prepared were not ready and had significant issues. Not worth the money they charged and a waste of time. They seem to be Qld based and are no longer really here in Canberra. There are better law firms."
"After no meaningful reponse to my calls/emails for 10 days, someone called and said they can't do my conveyancing! Well 10 days wasted already!! And now when I call the Canberra office back, it is diverted to Brisbane office which is not responsive! Not recommanded at all!"
"Its service is a joke. We bought a apartment in Founder Lane in Canberra, which we supposed to settled last Friday, but failed due to the seller's solicitor forgot to put the discharge fee. It get delayed to Monday then the settlement agent went to their office for settlement, the settlement amount is wrong because they charged a penalties. serious?. I am not sure how this business is running, if you short staff, hire more,if your staff is not professional, train them."
"BE WARNED. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It's hard to believe that Google doesn't give the option for zero stars! This company owns Goldbrook law. Conveniently in the same building! Goldbrook represented my ex. My ex's solicitor talked me into using McInnes Wilson to "speed up" our property settlement. Well it's been 2 months now. They stuffed up. But being a law firm they can't admit it. McInnes Wilson called secret meetings with Goldbrook law to discuss my case. Now bear in mind they are supposed to be in separate corners. They responded to none of my emails. There was zero communication with me at all. The solicitor allocated to me was useless. All "my solicitors" communication was with her 'work colleague' at Goldbrook law (confusing ay!). Between them they have been charging out their services, while dragging their feet and doing nothing. I have already started the process of collating my evidence and raising a formal complaint about these "2" companies at The ACT Law Society. As I feel that the ACT family law sector is one huge click! I am also sending my evidence to the Ombudsman. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has had difficulties with these companies? I see the last Google review had a similar experience. As these 2 companies are under the same umbrella. What they secretly colluded between themselves in my case is morally and ethically flawed. Hopefully the ACT Law Society or Ombudsman will put an end to this shemozzle. Where 2 companies owned by the same people can charge people to battle themselves! Please get in touch if you need any further clarification on this matter. DO NOT USE EITHER OF THESE "2" COMPANIES. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED."
