Allow me to introduce myself, I am Assunta, the Centre Director at Goodstart Garran. As a mother of four and a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, I have a deep understanding of the needs of children and the importance of their education. I have been working in the Education and Care sector for 18 years, with Goodstart since 2008. I am dedicated to teaching children the skills they need for school and later in life.

In our learning environment, we draw inspiration from the Reggio Emilia and Resource for Infant Educarers (RIE) approaches. We create safe and respectful spaces that foster children's emerging skills and competencies. We believe in empowering children as active participants in their learning journey, encouraging them to ask questions, explore ideas, and discover the world through play.

Collaboration and partnership with families are at the core of our approach. We value the knowledge and insights that families bring, as they know their children best. By working together, we can develop tailored learning, support, and care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.

Convenience is important to us, which is why we have a parking area right outside our Centre gates. We want to make drop-offs and pick-ups as easy as possible for busy families.
