"The students are alright. Some are even really nice. But some of the teachers are quite pressuring, mean, do not show manners towards students despite asking them to be nice (see the irony in it?), and they do not support our learning efficiently. EDIT: Mr Ang, Ms Hou, Mr Talbot, Ms Groves, Ms Sugars, Mr Zilm, Ms Morey and Ms Ankers are great teachers (some of these teachers have been recommended to me by fellow peers). Make sure you have a class with at least 1 of them for a great year. UPDATE (25/05/23): If you're signing your child up for a school sport, make sure you do it QUICKLY because the places always run out."
"I've only been to one highschool so I don't know what I'm basing this review off of. One thing I'm not going to do is stick to an arbitrary word limit that compromises detail. The ignite program is relatively fine with its biggest benefit being the year skip. Always good to get an extra year of life being wasted elsewhere. Teachers are great (mostly) , relief teachers can be really hit or miss so just pray. Certain teachers are too lenient and let the classroom become an uncontrolled zoo. The uniform policy is extremely strict considering their agregious prices and uncomfortable fabrics. Recently the introduction of the phone policy makes for a serious annoyance that essentially everyone ignores when teachers turn their heads. Inclusion of year 7s makes the hallways even more congested and noisy. Their incompetence creates plentiful unnecessary annoyances. Even higher grade kids don't understand basic etiquette such as 'walking on the left'. A real sense of unproffesionalism from a school trying so hard to look modern. UPDATE: The school is taking an insanely long amount of time to fix a staircase. Not to call the builders lazy, but they should've been done latest by the end of the holidays. Keep up the solid work school. Can I also suggest to never pick psychology? Any other subject is better. UPDATE 2: The stair cases are still yet to be finished after a minimum of 6 weeks. Builers should get a serious move on and do their jobs for once."
"Best school you say? Well, it is when you are an average person and people who are higher then average. Here's are some things people wish to change. - Timetable: Bring back the old time table - Remove Leap year because no one cares - Bring healthier food into school cafeteria and have more options - Let people stay inside the buildings even if it's nice outside - Stop making school uniform worse - Don't let teachers think they can control students - Phones should be allowed to use during break times - Teachers should not be hostile to students - Bring back the hoodie with glenunga logo on it - Let Year12s have student parking in the cement because of parking tickets - Give us handball court - Fix the Volleyball court - If there's an outlet, let people use it, even in the school library because it's important for students to keep working. - Make students and teachers clean school before school ends and let cleaners check through missing spots, it's their responsibility to behave and make wise choice."
"The school itself is fine and all. What’s useless is all the LEAP stuff that students are required to part take in even if it is not graded. Teachers love to fill students with piles of homework. The teachers there however, are quite….. nice, hence the 3 star review."
