"The hospital has very caring nursing staff that give all patients their time. They certainly are busy and it is a clear that some more staff numbers are needed, but ultimately that does not take away the professional nature of the staff. The Psychiatrist staff are also caring, one more so than the other, but again, It is such that negative opinion cannot be given. The facilities are very clean, well cared for by the support staff. The food is good quality and the kitchen staff very helpful to food needs. I cannot give significant fault to the running or the facilities of Deakin Private Hospital. I would however recommend more staff, particularly for the night shifts."
"Beware this facility has no staff and the ones they do are unprofessional to say the least. There is no onsite phycologist or Counceling. The group therapy sessions are run by an art councilor who when I was there berated a lady in front of everyone reducing her to hysterics. No access to any gym outside of a set 1hr group session so to bad if you just need to run of any stress your having. Dr chopra the physcotherapist ( drug doctor) is one of the most arrogant person I have ever meet a C grade dr in my opinion it’s probably all they could get as even management admits they can’t get staff. They discharged me to the street with no duty of care because they knew I had asked to be moved to hysen green a much better facilty ( their words) To me it’s not a focus on care it’s a focus on dollars through the door. The food was excellent though so if you’re looking for a Novotel style experience but don’t want to actually get better go to deakin private."
