"The reason why I never left Canberra and probably never will. The day I discovered Stromlo with my trusty hard tail Trek, I was hooked. After the ride. I immediately grabbed my phone and googled the 10-day weather forecast, checked my roster and set up a reminder for my next ride. Went home with a high and a smile. I was day dreaming that someday I can buy my first full suspension bike and purchase a home near Stromlo. Ten years and five bikes later, I now live in one of the suburbs near my beloved mountain. Perfect for my young and active family!"
"Great downhill for all age . Large range of tracks. Also there's a shuttle bus to top on weekends."
"Best park with various mountain bike trails and trail signs all over the area according to their difficulties. Many activities for kids. There's even a bike rental shop for someone who wants to check it out before they buy. At the end of the day, you got a small restaurant with alcohol and food served fresh. I would love to visit again. Revisit: This time, there were more cars and it was good to see many biking hobbyists at one place. That small restaurant was full and more fun this time. Coming back again."
"Great space not just for mountain bikers of all styles and skills/age. The grass running track has loops that allow you to set your own distance, the bitumen cycling circuit (video) is perfect for skates, scooters and young ones learning to ride. Plus just cross country running, equestrian trails. BBQ, toilets, kids play equipment."
"This is a beautiful spot for walking. Lovely manicured lawns amongst the bush. Plenty of wildlife to enjoy, too. Lots of kangaroos, love hearing the kookaburras. Have seen an owl on a signpost and a wombat rustling through the scrub."
