The historic interruption of the Ngunnawal people from their land has had profound and ongoing effects on their well-being, cultural practices, families, and continuation of their law and lore. We recognize and respect the significant contribution they have made in caring for Country and maintaining a strong connection to these lands and waters.
In addition to acknowledging the Ngunnawal people as the traditional custodians of the ACT, we also extend our respect to any other people or families with a connection to this region. Their continuing culture and contributions greatly enrich the life of our city and region.

Reviews
"Love this spot for a swim and picnic"
"Nice area to relax and spend the day. Good to take family and friends because there is no mobile phone reception."
"If you enjoy a quiet picnic with flowing water and greenery around, this is the place to be. A few barbecue stations fulfil your food needs and you might even catch a glimpse of a friendly possum. Good for photography or recording water sounds. Adequate parking is available. Best time of the day to visit is early morning or evening. Avoid the afternoon time as it can get quite warn. Public toilets nearby can be handy if you have kids. Do visit while you are in Canberra."
"Beautiful place to gather with friends and family. Perfect spot for picnics."
