Welcome to Classical Ballet Centre Canberra, located in Cook, Templeton Street. As an establishment and point of interest in Australia, we are dedicated to providing exceptional training in Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Performance Arts.

Our ballet classes in Canberra offer formal training that focuses on proper posture, class etiquette, and the use of positions of feet and arms. Students will develop muscle memory, increase coordination, and enhance music recognition as they learn to identify points of the room. Accompanied by live piano, our classes also offer the opportunity for students to participate in full school performances.

For those interested in jazz, our classes begin with a warm-up, isolations, and stretching exercises. Students will learn fundamental jazz steps and basic movement combinations, with an emphasis on body placement, stretch, rhythm, and musicality.

Contemporary dance, a fusion of classical ballet, jazz, and modern styles, is an expressive form of dance. In our contemporary classes, students explore the connection between music and movement, creating fluid and free-form choreography. They are challenged to dance with emotion and artistry, captivating audiences with their performances.

Tap dance classes in Canberra are a fantastic way for dancers to develop coordination and musicality. Starting with basic steps, students progress to more advanced techniques, delivering clean and crisp sounds that complement the choreography.
