"I was treated very well here. Senior Nurse Mellie (Sorry if my spelling is incorrect!) was very patient and gave me medical recommendation in details. She showed her compassion and sympathy to diagnosed me. Nevertheless, it's all free here. Thank you so much for the service."
"I saw Dr Smee after a motor accident where my shoulder was dislocated. I went to him about 5 days after being released from hospital complaining that I was sure my shoulder was not right - I told him that I thought there was more damage than thought at the hospital and that I think I should get imaging done. He prodded me a few times, wrote a script for masses of opioid medication for the pain, and refused to refer me for imaging. It turned out that Canberra Hospital had misdiagnosed my problem and 3/4 rotator cuff tendons were completely ripped. His assurance that I was fine led to an extra week of damage to my shoulder. I had also taken my sick wife to him a few years earlier and he was completely disinterested. Terrible doctor that needs to be retired by the authorities!"
"My kids and I have been seeing Dr Smee for a very long time. I feel sorry that he often gets bad reviews . We are very lucky to have a Doctor that bulk bills locally. He often cops alot of negative reviews when we should be thanking him for looking after us and bulk billing. Thanks Dr Smee for looking after my kids and me.."
"I saw Dr Smee for a script and he did the usual blood pressure check. He pulled his chair close to mine and placed my arm on his leg while putting the blood pressure band on me. I very quickly lifted my arm off his leg because I felt very uncomfortable and did not consider it necessary. He pulled my arm back on his leg and I (again) lifted it off. We repeated this violating game until I said "I'm going to keep my arm on my chair thank you". As a female, I find him unsettling and very creepy."
"I received excellent treatment and advice from Doctor Smee. He & his staff were as polite, professional & punctual as you could hope for. I would recommend my friends & family to Dr Smee in a heartbeat. I'm gobsmacked by the daft comments in some of these Google reviews, 'won't prescribe drugs he doesn't know anything about..' I should ruddy well hope not!"
