"My initial visit to the walk-in centre was an attempt to explore an alternative to the hospital setting. I relied on the ACT health app for waiting time information, which unfortunately turned out to be quite misleading. Despite the app suggesting a mere 20-minute wait, I ended up waiting for 2 hours to have my ear examined, even though there were only 5 other patients present. The facility appeared to be understaffed, with only one nurse on duty. It's disheartening to see such limited resources provided by the ACT government in a densely populated area like Gungahlin."
"I would even give negative ratings if i could. I waited for 4 and half hours long and did not get the service.I checked in around at 6:30pm .it was taking too long and I asked the reception at around 9:00 pm if I will be served today else I will leave. She said I will get the service. Around 9:45pm she came and said she has talked to nurse and I will be served for sure. And at 10:40 pm I was waiting and hoping to get served but suddenly nurse comes and says I won’t be served and asks me to leave. I know you guys are late as well but please don’t do such things to people after you guys have given a word by saying one will be served at any cost and at the end says we cannot serve you."
"I didn't appreciate being repeatedly questioned by the nurse about why I hadn't already taken a COVID test before coming to the clinic, when my symptoms had only recently become severe. If they were trying to make a point about public safety, perhaps they shouldn't guilt-trip someone who obviously didn't mean to do anything wrong."
"Horrible experience waited while being the only person there. Nurse was fine unfortunately they could not help with my plugged ear as they require you to softn it at home. So went home worse than I came in due to the nurse plugging my ear up further in her examination."
"Absolute change in the level of service from previous visits. The nurse on duty went above and beyond to expel any fears or concerns we had when attending. Made a world of difference and certainly gave a boost of confidence to my child that they were going to be ok. Thank you very much"
