"We chose The Retreat when visiting the Adelaide Hills with a group of friends. Everyone loved the accommodation, for a group of people Apartment 3 is huge and gave us plenty of room to be together or be apart if that's what we wanted. All the areas were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the breakfast supplies were generous plus there were other extras such a choice of different types of tea, cling film to store leftovers, olive oil for cooking etc. The ensuite off the 2nd bedroom in Apartment 3 is quite dated compared to the rest of the apartment but everything worked perfectly. It might disappoint someone who was very picky about the aesthetics, but it certainly didn't bother me. Bridget and Amy could not have been more helpful. If we had any questions or needed them for anything, they were very responsive and it was a pleasure dealing with them. Location was also perfect, most of the places we wanted to visit were 10 - 20 minutes away. I can only comment on Apartment 3 and 4 but we found them to be excellent. If our group ever returns to the Adelaide Hills, we have already decided that The Retreat will be our 'home' of choice."
"What an incredible property! The pictures online did not do it justice as we were not prepared for just how big it is. It was well appointed with all the amenities you could want with a B&B. The gardens were lovely and made for a beautiful view with our cooked breakfast on Sunday morning. The main room was huge! Everything you could possibly want was supplied."
