"!!! WORTH THE READ !!! Many students don’t understand how lucky they are to attend NIHS, they have never experienced how and schools can be and think they have it the worst when they don’t. Norwood International High School is undeniably amazing, and the negative reviews from some students are likely influenced by their general aversion to school rather than any genuine flaws in the institution. As an objective observer, I can attest to the school's excellence and commitment to providing a top-tier education. The faculty and staff at Norwood are highly qualified and dedicated professionals who genuinely care about their students' success. They go the extra mile to support each student's individual needs and create a conducive learning environment. However, it is not uncommon for students to express dissatisfaction with school in general, as the rigors of education can be demanding and challenging. What sets Norwood International apart is its progressive and inclusive approach to education. The school embraces diversity and encourages students to celebrate their unique backgrounds and perspectives. The emphasis on global perspectives and cultural exchange broadens students' horizons and prepares them to be responsible global citizens. The school's curriculum is thoughtfully designed, offering a wide array of subjects to cater to various interests and aspirations. From rigorous academic courses to enriching extracurricular activities, Norwood ensures students have ample opportunities to excel and explore their passions. While some students may express negative opinions about the school, it's crucial to remember that these reviews might not accurately reflect the overall experience. It is common for students to vent their frustrations or simply rebel against the idea of school. This does not undermine Norwood International's dedication to providing an exceptional education. In conclusion, Norwood International High School is truly amazing, offering a high-quality education in a nurturing and diverse environment. Don't let a few negative student reviews deter you from considering this outstanding institution. It's essential to look beyond individual opinions and explore the school's achievements, values, and unique offerings."

"Title: A School that Crushes Individuality and Imprisons Creativity As a rebellious student, I feel compelled to share my vehemently negative review of our school, which I believe is nothing more than a suffocating institution that suppresses individuality and confines creativity. From the moment we step foot through its cold, institutional doors, we are stripped of our identities and forced into a monotonous conformity that stifles our spirits. First and foremost, the school's rigid and outdated rules suffocate any sense of freedom and self-expression. The dress code, with its absurd regulations, ensures that we are reduced to mere uniform-clad drones devoid of any personal style or uniqueness. We are expected to conform to a narrow definition of what is deemed acceptable, squashing our ability to explore and embrace our individuality. Moreover, the curriculum is a bland and uninspiring concoction of standardized tests and mind-numbing lectures. The focus on rote memorization and regurgitation of information leaves no room for critical thinking or creative exploration. Rather than nurturing our minds and encouraging us to think outside the box, the school's relentless emphasis on conformity and conformity alone smothers any spark of intellectual curiosity or independent thought. The teaching methods employed are equally reprehensible. The teachers, seemingly devoid of passion or enthusiasm, mechanically deliver the same tired lessons year after year. The classroom atmosphere is one of apathy and disengagement, as they fail to ignite a genuine love for learning within their students. Their reliance on outdated textbooks and reluctance to embrace modern technology further perpetuates the sense of stagnation that permeates the school's hallways. Even worse, any attempt at rebellion or creative expression is swiftly crushed under the iron fist of disciplinary measures. The administration, more concerned with maintaining control than fostering personal growth, imposes draconian punishments for the slightest deviation from their narrow path. Creativity, individuality, and dissenting voices are swiftly silenced, leaving us feeling trapped within the suffocating walls of this authoritarian regime. In conclusion, our school is an embodiment of everything that is wrong with the education system. It prioritizes conformity over individuality, stifles creativity, and crushes any rebellious spirit that dares to challenge its suffocating rules and regulations. It fails to inspire, nurture, or empower students, relegating us to nothing more than cogs in a soulless machine. It is high time for a revolution within the walls of this oppressive institution, as we strive to reclaim our freedom, embrace our individuality, and demand an education that fosters growth and celebrates the rebellious spirit within us all."
"I once visited this school as Morialta. Now it has become International. I preferred Morialta, but the jump to international is understandable as the school's desicion-makers want to empower multiculturalism in the school (this is my understanding of it). The school's façade reminds me of any other school (be it primary or secondary), and the students are alright to be with. However, some teachers do not appreciate the idea of self-expression through the uniform and are a little harsh on the uniform. I would suggest to give the students some liberty, and allow more flexibility within the uniform. Keep a few limits if you must. Overall, this school is not exactly the best school in Adelaide, but it is seen to rank highly. It has its good and bad points like any other school, and that is okay. It's just that sometimes those points tip over to the bad side."
"Honestly, I hate this school. Tries way too hard to act like some high class private school when in reality, all it does is torture its students. I'm a year ten student this year and the homework I've been getting is just stupid at this point. I'm so sick of going home and going straight to my room to do my homework, I can never spend time with my family anymore. It makes me so upset that I use my weekends and free weekdays after school to do homework. And on top of all this work I also have a job and do an extra curricular activity. Some of the teachers and learning community leaders are so focused on peoples uniforms or girls wearing makeup, jewelry or fake nails than the actual learning. I don't understand why they expect so much. We're teenagers who want to express ourselves. This school is taking away my creativity. I barely have time to do any of my own hobbies and its getting so draining. There are so many issues here like bullying, vaping, ignorant teachers and leaders and so much more. A lot of the students here are feral and the girls here are so insecure and mean and none of these issues get addressed. The only issues that are spoken about are the toilets being messy, students using their phones, and people wearing the wrong uniform. To be honest, if you want your child to develop anxiety and depression, insecurity, be stressed and constantly working instead of doing more important things and most likely being bullied, then I highly recommend this lovely school. Otherwise, its best if you send them somewhere else."
