"This place is pretty good for Chinese breakfast in Adelaide, there are not many other places for it sadly. I enjoy the food here and have come here a few times. The congee is standard/ good and youtiao is lovely and fresh. The shepards purse wontons have a tasty filling and fresh vegetables. The beef stir fried rice noodle has great char, it’s a bit sweet for my taste but still delicious like 9/10 good. I especially enjoy the Mochi black sesame youtiao even tho it’s a bit more oily than the regular ones, I love anything with Mochi and it’s a unique dish offering here. The service is not the best, but I had no issues with my order. Overall I would still come back as I like the food here. The food comes out quick too and was not too busy for Saturday lunch time. Food is 5/5 for what it is, service is 3/5 so averaged at 4/5, just depends what you come here for."

"Bright and spacious restaurant. Perfect hot congee for winter days. Flavoursome and runny congee in various flavours. The century egg is my favourite. The large bowl is decent sized to be shared among 2. Single dough sticks are crunchy and pairs well with congee. The sweet dough sticks with added peanuts was also pretty good. Something different to try. Great casual eats. Food gets served pretty quickly."

"The foods is really good, tastes authentic and perfectly cooked! Try their porridges (congee), the porridges tastes very rich yet not overpowering and the texture is very smooth! Also their tofu, super smooth and soft!"

"Average Chinese restaurant to grab a quick bite. Would not recommend the stew pork rice, lacking in flavour and very plain. However, the dry noodles was tasty as well as the savoury tofu."

"The congee was okay and mistakenly ordered this instead of regular dough sticks. It got covered with glutenous mochi, so sweet sesame icing sugar?, Pork floss and seaweed. It was just okay. As usual, the breakfast here in Chinatown costs more than at a hotel."
