"What an amazing place. The staff are the best. Friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is incredible. Lots to choose from. Seating inside and out. Lovely fresh and relaxed feel inside. One of the best cafes I've been to in a long time."
"My new favourite brunch spot. Great food, coffee, service and ambience. We were a group of 9 and the service was exceptional. Everybody enjoyed their food and said they'd come back. Love the decor, the little gift section and can't wait for the warmer weather to sit outside. Well done to the Yolk Team."
"We visited this nice cafe for the first time for a brunch and we spent an enjoyable time. Combination of tasty food, great coffee and friendly staff with good customer service. Highly recommended."
"Had very high hopes for this establishment after viewing all the photos and reviews from other customers. The food was plated beautifully, but unfortunately the taste did not live up to its looks. The menu on their website was not updated to accomodate for their autumn menu and therefore we were a bit surprised when we looked at the menu given to us. Understandable if they haven’t had time to update it if they had just introduced it. It might’ve been that we just happened to order the worst foods off the menu or they haven’t had time to fully adjust the taste of their new menu but it was just overall tasteless and bland. Ordered the curried egg and potato pancake. Only thing I could taste from the curried egg toast was the cheese that was crumbled on top. The bacon was really hard and the ‘potato’ pancake really tasted like a normal flour pancake with no flavour. Also had the ‘Korean’ style fried popcorn chicken and omg that was so bland, it had some sort of honey chilli sauce but it wasn’t distributed evenly, it kind of just seemed like the chef poured the sauce onto the chicken after it was in the bowl. It think it would’ve been better if the sauce had been tossed with the chicken in a bowl so that the chicken could be fully covered with sauce instead of all it ending up at the bottom. Milo shake was also super milky, very very little taste of milo. Refresher juice was good but came out warm so I had to stir and wait for the juice to get cold. Sat at the booth/ couch area. The table was sticky and the seat had lots of crumbs on it. Staff was friendly and the interior was pretty but unfortunately won’t be running back. Hope that this bad experience was just for us and won’t be experienced by other customers."
