Welcome to Hawthorn Child Care and Early Learning Centre! Our establishment is located at 110 Belair Road in Hawthorn, Australia. We are a point of interest in the area, offering exceptional care for children for over 25 years.

Our aim at Hawthorn Child Care and Early Learning Centre is to create a warm and caring environment where all children, families, educators, and wider community members feel comfortable, welcome, respected, and valued. We are committed to ensuring that all children in our care are provided with a nurturing environment where they have the opportunity to play, develop, learn, and participate.

Each room in our centre offers educational programs that are tailored to meet the individual developmental needs, interests, and experiences of each child. We view and support children as active participants and decision makers in the curriculum. Our dedicated educators work closely with each child to build secure, respectful, and reciprocal relationships.

Recognizing that each family has unique needs, we strive to provide personalized care and respect the knowledge, wisdom, and relationship each family has with their child. Our goal as a service is to continually strive to provide the highest quality education and care for the children in our care, working in conjunction with children, families, and the community.

Our fully trained and qualified staff offer care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We provide a wide variety of resources and equipment to engage children in learning and development. Our large outdoor play area supports outdoor play throughout the year and provides children with the opportunity to engage in play based in nature.

At Hawthorn Child Care Centre, we draw on a wide range of theoretical, child, family, and community perspectives to guide our pedagogy, planning, and practice. Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring that children have the opportunity to learn and develop based on their individual needs, interests, and experiences. We value children's voices and actively involve them in our curriculum planning process.

We also acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Custodians of the lands across Australia, as well as the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our Centre stands.
