We grow our own vegetables and fruits on-site, offer substantial vegan and vegetarian menus, up-cycle pre-loved items and furniture, source from local and ethical suppliers, and follow the principles of "reduce, re-use, refuse, recycle." In recognition of our efforts, we were honored with the AHA Environmental and Energy Efficiency Practice South Australian award in 2019, and we continue to develop new environmentally friendly systems.

For us, owning the Uraidla Hotel is not just a commercial venture; it is an opportunity to support and give back to the community. We see ourselves as custodians of this historical establishment and strive to serve the community in that capacity. We actively engage and collaborate with local sporting clubs, schools, CFS, and other organizations, as well as other commercial venues, growers, winemakers, manufacturers, and artisanal food producers. Our venue provides a central and welcoming space for meetings, discussions, and promotions, benefiting all involved.

We are particularly passionate about employing and supporting our local youth. We believe that working in hospitality provides important life lessons in teamwork, organization, problem-solving, and leadership. These skills serve as a foundation for self-confidence and understanding of human behavior, which are valuable in any profession. The owner's three older teenage children have all worked at The Crafers Hotel, and they carry these skills with them into adulthood. Additionally, we strive to create an enjoyable and fun environment where strong friendships are formed.

Our operating hours are as follows:

- Monday to Friday: Lunch from 12:00pm to 2:30pm, Dinner from 5:30pm to 8:30pm

- Saturday and Sunday: Breakfast in Cafe & Hotel from 8:30am to 11:30am, All Day Dining from 12:00pm to 8:30pm
