"Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with a stunning digustation menu. Excellent meal, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. I booked the reservation, though, online, and they hadn't even read it. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and asked for HBD to be inscribed on a dessert, but it never happened. Although they apologised when I mentioned the issue, they were unapologetic."

"We visited Aurora the second time tonight. Food and service was, if not better, as good as last time. We started with Zucchini flower prawn and Lamb entree. The lamb was cooked just right, and it goes perfect with the labneh. More than expected. For main course we had mullet and wood roasted chicken. Missus loved the mullet so much and shared just a little with me. Unfortunately, we were sad that the broccoli side dish we both enjoyed last time is no longer on the menu, but James kindly made us happy with the recommendation of another “upgraded” version of it, the Cabbage side dish. Our dinner finished with the baked peach dessert. I highly recommend whoever comes to Aurora should try it. In all, it’s a great night. We will definitely come again."

"A mostly disappointing evening with some dishes that were good. Serving sizes are generally quite small for the prices. Two things that were not great were the “flathead” and the quail. The flathead dish didn’t look like it was flathead as the slices of fish were bright orange like smoked salmon. The quail was a roulade and must have been stuffed with another meat but was hard to tell what it was. The concerning part was that the quail appeared undercooked and almost raw. Overall couldn’t recommend"

"Wow! Was going to a show at The Light Room and thought I'd venture into Aurora for dinner .The two entree dishes and my roasted peach dessert were superb . My friends ,and those who like big pub meals won't ...but it's the best food I've had for quite a while .I had the flathead with Kohlrabi and the Zuchini Flowers with prawns ."

"I booked for a Friday lunch for a 60th birthday lunch with my family. We opted for the chefs selection menu. The food was delicious, and artistically presented. We were not rushed with our meal, with the service extending from midday to just after 4pm. This made the whole event convivial and enjoyable. Aurora have an inviting list of their own crafted cocktails that we sampled. The wine list is extensive with carefully selected and interesting wines - I did take two of my own bottles for this special occasion though you need to be aware of the corkage fee. The restaurant ambience is great and the service that we received was outstanding. This was my second time dining at Aurora and I am looking forward to returning again. A special thank you to Adam for his guidance in selecting wines and his warm hospitality."
