Welcome to Belly Dance Arabesque, located at College Park, Payneham Road, 23 in Australia. Our institution is a point of interest and an establishment that offers an enriching experience for your mind, body, and soul. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced dancer, everyone is welcome to join our classes.
We are excited to announce that Term 3 will begin on Monday, July 24. You can find our new program listed below. We offer classes not only in College Park but also a new beginner class at Brighton.
Join us on Sunday, July 9th, at the studio for a special event. The doors open at 12 noon, and the dancing starts at 1 pm. It is an afternoon dedicated to celebrating the dances that we have been working on during the term. Entry is $12 at the door.
Mark your calendars for Friday, June 23, at 7:30 pm, as we present an enchanting evening of world music and dance at The Jade. Tickets are $30 and are on sale now at the studio or via Eventbrite. This event will feature special guest Zahraa from Melbourne, as well as our talented teachers and students of Belly Dance Arabesque.
We are proud to share some heartfelt testimonials from our students. One student expressed their gratitude for the fabulous teachers and the amazing atmosphere that completely transforms their day. One of the highlights of our year is the "Harem" party, where women of all ages, shapes, and abilities come together to dance and have fun. It is a safe and supportive environment where everyone is accepted and applauded for "strutting their stuff." We are thrilled to have provided an opportunity for one student to showcase their belly dancing skills.
We recently held an open day, and we are grateful for the warm welcome and the well-organized event that made one nervous attendee feel at ease. The friendly and happy atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable.

"No matter what shape or age, if you're thinking of learning Belly Dancing then BDA is the place to go. Regan, the Principal, runs a very reasonably priced, well organised, friendly school with so much diversity and heaps of fun. You can choose to learn everything from Classic Belly Dance, Tribal, Tribal Fusion, Bollywood to Turkish Rom and even Yoga. The teachers have all trained with the best and there are classes to accommodate all levels. They even email the links to the music and choreography so you can practice at home if you wish! The classes also include Technique(the breaking down of steps) so you get to learn how it's really done. We are all still learning, all the time! The Harem Parties at the end of Term are a lot of fun too and a great chance to dress up and perform - but only if you're up for it. That's purely optional. This is also the perfect opportunity to see what those other classes are all about. BDA has a very warm feminine atmosphere about it; it's a special place - and one I highly recommend!"

It will strengthen your core and give you the opportunity to learn some of the beautiful styles of belly dance. I've been going for about 16 years now and still enjoy every lesson.
