"This practice called to arrange my first appointment, I was taken aback at the offhand way I was spoken to. Even my friend was admonished unnecessarily by the caller. Having shared this bad experience with friends; they responded with similar accounts of being poorly spoken to and or lengthy waiting times. Incidentially I have cancelled my appointment and will be going elsewhere; where I hope to be treated with respect."

"Extremely expensive compared to other specialists. $94.50 for OCT compared to an average of $45-65 for other specialists. No Medicare rebate available. Consulting fee $205 and pension $175 compared to mostly $160 and $120 for other specialists. Medicare rebate $75.05. When I questioned the receptionist re the fees all I got was a very belligerent reply. "Well if money is a problem you can always to the Flinders Medical Centre. As a result of the attitude and fees, I will not be back. Lesson learned, always ask the fees before attending."

"I can’t speak highly enough about Eyemedics at Morphett Vale. I was refered by Specsavers. I was attended to very quickly after the referal was processed. The staff are excellent, with the receptionist, Lauren, being a standout. (Polite, courteous, and efficient.) Dr Tim Greenwell was the surgeon i was fortunate enough to be treated by, for cataracts. I highly reccomend his professional approach, and ability, as a surgeon. I rate Dr Tim 10/10."
