Reviews of Cox Scrub Conservation Park
"Great trails through native scrub. Plenty of signs and maps to help navigate. Lots of wildlife. Good tracks for trail running"
"Gorgeous orchids and other wildflowers plus fabulous views. Highly recommend. There's a longer walk and a shorter walk"
"Free. Gate 3 long walks Gate 2 has a short loop option, 1 has a 3 k option. You need to be patient quiet and lucky to see any but the most common wildlife"
"This is another gem of a location for anyone keen on thick scrub areas and heaps of bird and wild life. It has some sandy and hilly spots so you would want to make sure you wear proper footwear and take a water bottle. The best times for us have been early in the morning when it is still quite cool and fresh. We was told there were no koalas anywhere near by but we have seen two there together at one stage. If only there were more areas like this one to keep the kids happy. If taking children take a small container or sandwich bag for them as we always stumble across a large assortment of feathers and flowers they like to collect and press."
"Great variety of native flora and birds. We parked at Gate 1 and walked the Stringybark hike. The path is part packed, part soft sand. Need to come back and check out the other tracks."
