"My first impressions of Tap and Grind were favourable. Clean, airy, staff smiling, plenty of different spots to sit whether you were with people or on your own. The menu is not huge but by the time you add the all day breakfast menu, the specials from the special board, a daily hot soup and items from the cabinet, there is plenty on offer. We settled on the chilli scrambled eggs on sourdough and a falafel bowl. The photos included show the meals and they looked very nice. The sourdough was not sourdough although I am sure it is sold as such but there was no integrity to the bread whatsoever and little taste. It was also not cooked adequately and was way too thick so that it overpowered the eggs. But hey, each to their own and there are worse things in the world. It was easy to overcome. The falafels were dry but had a beautiful crunch to give some flavour and texture. Overall pretty good. The staff though made the place as they were a happy bunch and that really makes you feel good about a place. Would not hesitate to return and try something else."

"Today, as a complete break with tradition, my wife and I shared the Mother’s Day breakfast box. We did it as a takeaway and what a fabulous delight it was. Ordered it via Facebook on Thursday and picked it up at 0800 this morning. Fantastic service as the coffees I ordered were being made as soon as I walked in, and the breakfast box was a sight to behold! What a beautiful package and even more was the great range of delicacies within. This was superb value and it was a struggle to not break open the box on the way home. This type of thinking from Tap & Grind shows how far ahead of the pack they are - and how it helps to retain loyal customers. Well done team and Vanessa - it’s all very well to have good ideas but without excellent service delivery it’s a waste of time. Congrats to everyone at Tap & Grind for making Mother’s Day 2023 one to really remember."

"My partner and I came here to have our morning tea and we ordered two flat white and their cakes of the day. As it’s a bit busy so we had to wait for more than 10 minutes. But it’s worth waiting as both the coffee and the cakes were nice. The chocolate mud cake and the orange sponge cake were yummy. As this cafe joined the Australia Fair August Eats, you can get a small coffee and cake of the day for just AUD5. So grasps this chance and enjoy the friendly service and nice food here as this offer only available until Sunday 29 August 2021."
