About the Business
Welcome to Murlong Park, an establishment that combines the beauty of a park with the convenience of a tourist attraction. Located in Palm Beach, Murlong Crescent, our institution offers a range of services and activities to enhance your experience in Australia.
At Murlong Park, we prioritize your convenience by providing a secure and convenient way to manage your Council services. Whether you need property information, development application details, or want to pay your rates, water, and other Council bills online, we have got you covered. Additionally, our website allows you to quickly find your waste or recycling collection day, get advice for neighborhood issues, or report a problem.
For those driving to our park, we offer information on finding places to park legally and even provide the option to look up or request a parking fine review. We believe in giving you a voice, which is why we encourage you to have your say on the future of Surfers Paradise through our online registration. Furthermore, if you have a furry friend, don't forget to register your dog by 31 August.
Murlong Park is also proud to offer additional attractions and services. Our Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens Glider Service provides a pleasant way to experience the Gardens, especially for those with limited mobility. If you are a fan of arts and culture, the Gold Coast Eisteddfod is the largest competition of its kind in Australia, featuring categories such as dance, music, choral, vocal, speech, and drama. We also celebrate national Science Week through our NaturallyGC program, offering free community workshops and activities focused on environmental science.
If you are a music enthusiast, you won't want to miss our free open-age music festival, featuring the best homegrown and national artists in alternative, electronic, and hip-hop genres. For sports enthusiasts, we host the semi-finals of the highest level of weekly volleyball in South East Queensland.
At Murlong Park, we prioritize responsible pet ownership to ensure the safety of the community and the protection of native wildlife. We support stronger laws on irresponsible pet owners and have implemented improved Animal Management Local Laws.
Exciting developments are also taking place in our city. Construction is underway at the Greenheart site in Robina to create a 252-hectare park, often referred to as the Gold Coast's answer to Central Park. Additionally, work will begin on Tallebudgera Creek Park to improve its access and facilities and meet the growing demand.
As part of our commitment to improving services, we are conducting an accommodation review to save ratepayers millions and enhance our offerings. Our administration staff in the Nerang precinct will be relocated to existing offices in Bundall, providing an opportunity to investigate a community hub at the site.
We are proud to announce our million-dollar global screen industry commitment, which includes increased funding through the Screen Attraction Program and progress on the Yatala screen project. These initiatives aim to support and promote the growth of the screen industry in our city.
To ensure a seamless experience for visitors, we have appointed a senior tourism executive as the inaugural CEO of our new super entity, Experience Gold Coast. With a wide range of experience, our CEO will lead the way in enhancing tourism opportunities in our beautiful city.

"Lovely place to stroll or picnic or swim"
"Beautiful scenery and so calm and laid back. Perfect for a picnic/bbq with the grill all ready there to use. Not sure about activities but there were kids kayaking when I was there. Very nice"
"Beautiful spot any time of the year."
"Quiet, and nice view. Great beaches for kids and adults. Only one thing I do not understand that I saw a sign saying personal water craft are prohibited! Not sure why as I saw many engine boats running around."
"Great and beautiful place with playground, BBQ, showers. Water is very beautiful and good for a swimming and picnic. Public toilet is near boat ramp. It's very busy on the weekend, hard to get a parking spot, however this is very lovely place! I went this place on the weekday, lots of car park space was available."
