At Paddle 2 Fitness, we pride ourselves on providing world-class coaching and training programs for athletes and paddlers of all levels. Our founder, Julian, is a SLSA Performance Coach with expertise in surf ski, board, swim, and iron disciplines. We also offer mentorship and coaching clinics for surf clubs across the country.
As Southeast Queensland's number one surfski and paddle adviser, we are dedicated to finding the perfect surfski that suits your needs. Our training program philosophy is based on the renowned Dr. Philip Maffetone method, which focuses on improving slow twitch fibers to enhance endurance.
Our team of full-time coaches conducts morning squad sessions in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast, catering to a wide range of paddlers. We understand the importance of mental health and its impact on performance, having experienced it firsthand. While paddling is our main focus, we also introduce a variety of cross-training routines, including running, to maximize your overall fitness.
With 30 years of experience in writing training programs, we have adopted the MAF and 80/20 training principles to ensure optimal results for our clients. We believe that incorporating exercise and healthy eating into your daily routine is crucial for productivity and well-being.
Our ultimate mission is to improve your health, lifestyle, and enjoyment of paddling. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced paddler, we are here to support you every step of the way. If you don't have your own equipment yet, don't worry - we are more than happy to provide a ski and paddle for your first session. Our Introduction Session, 1-1 sessions, and squad sessions are designed to have you paddling efficiently in just 3-5 sessions.
