Reviews of Flagstaff Hill Primary School
"i went there very good recommended for new and old students"
"Great School. Both of my kids enjoyed their time here!"
"Great school and fortunate to be in the zoned area. It has many fantastic teachers, who are passionate their job and student development. Facilities are top notch. FHR7 fosters community engagement and has a vibrant group of parents and businesses helping to raise funds, furthering the schools initiatives. No school is perfect, but Flagstaff Hill R-7 does a lot of things right and is why a few get upset around enrollment capacity issues."
"Flagstaff Hill appears like a great Primary School which nurtures children’s holistic wellbeing so that children can reach their full potential in their early years and follows a strong pedagogy of community & partnerships. However limited students are able to attend, in particular reception for next year, meaning that the school does not cater for capacity of popularity in the area, as well as give priority to students attending zoned kindergartens, which are their mother and community kindergartens. The school’s reception transition philosophy states that they believe in the partnerships within their mother kindergartens, that is effective for students transition program and is integral in establishing the path way for a successful first year at school. It’s very clear that this year, that their strong beliefs are not adhered to when it comes to the selection of the reception students for next year and choosing kilometres from the zoned suburb areas, rather than the partnerships within the mother kindergartens, its been a very disappointing outcome. If the school is not following their transition statements, what else are they not following……. I suggest looking for another school because its limiting in students being granted a position here, unless you are “millimetres” out of their zone, as it feels."
"great school, i loved it here. most of my child hood was here and i miss it soo much. i learn more that what i did in high school and appreciated the teachers there."
