"The apartment was okay, though a bit old. The view from the balcony was mesmerizing. Walking distance to the John Laws park at Burleigh heads. Should be priced a little lower."
"$300 for those rooms is very very over priced. Beds are hard as a rock, very tired and old looking, not comfortable at all."
"I was most disappointed when the room I was given was not the room I had booked and was advertised. When I complained, Colin told me that the apartment I booked had sold in august (5 months prior), but didn't feel the need to let me know. Although I since checked the listing and there was still a review of the place I booked in November, so this story was clearly not true. The room I had booked was on level 9 with ocean views, and the room I was given was on level 2, overlooking tennis courts instead of the ocean views that the photos showed. He had put us in a 2 bedroom apartment which was meant to be the upgrade to make up for the fact that it wasn't the apartment we had booked, even though there were only 2 of us, so we didn't need the extra room. He said there wasn't much he could do and offered us a refund - but because it was peak season - everything else in the area was sold out so we didn't really have a choice but to stay. He also informed us on check in that the air conditioning had broken a few days before, but this wasn't all that was wrong with the apartment. The balcony door lock was broken so the unit couldn't be locked, the bathroom sink had problems draining water, the tv in the bedroom turned on, but you couldn't change the channel, the tv in the lounge had no local channels - all in all it was a very old and tired apartment.... which I may have been ok with if I was able to look at the ocean."
"Was one of the only places left available for a one night stay in Burleigh the other weekend. $300 is an unholy amount of money to pay for what you get at this place. Yes that might be the going rate for the area but we left after an hour (due to the disgusting smell in the toilet - not made by me for a change) and stayed at the village (other side of James St) which for the same price was newer, clearner, quieter and equidistant to all of the good things in Burleigh! My advice is to stay elsewhere in Burleigh or even up the road in Miami."
"Very enjoyable place to stay. Staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help. Reception was always available which was amazing because there is so much to do on site. Car parking was safe and secure which was fastastic. Rooms were very clean and everything was kept in sensational order. Views were amazing and the location was immense. Overall was a great place to stay. Would recommentd this place to anyone who is visiting the gold coast."
