"Zero stars! This guy is dishonest and works with no integrity whatsoever. I hired his venue for an event but though I asked a couple of times months in advance, was not given the opportunity to fully inspect it until 14 hours before my event but I had to pay before the inspection. That was a mistake. The day before the inspection, Rob ("business" owner) asked me to change the time to view. I did. Fifteen minutes before our new meeting time, he sends me a message asking to change the time again. I read his message when I arrive at the venue as I was driving there when he sent it. He rocked up half an hour later than our agreed time. No apology from Rob; instead he invades my personal space with a very disingenuous hug. On entering the venue, I find that it is not suitable. There were air-conditioning units that could not be moved out of the way, staging and loads of electrical cords everywhere. Rob tells me they cannot be moved by the time I have hired the venue for. I had to cancel my event which people had travelled for, hired baby-sitters for, shifted work days around for, and his response was "it's all good Gee, all good". No acknowledgement of the massive inconvenience he has caused by not allowing an earlier inspection and not having the venue in a suitable condition for my purposes of which he was completely aware. To top it off, I have been ghosted. No response to any of my many text and phone messages seeking my money back. I find it astounding that some people would rip someone else off; give away whatever morsel of integrity they may have possessed and add nothing to the community except bad energy, trouble and stress...for a mere $80. Where is the camaraderie for others who are just trying to get by, who are trying to build an honest business in this climate? I can't even write-off this rip-off as he has not provided an ABN number. No surprise there. Maybe the ATO can help me with that one. This review is out of principle; and serves as a warning to others who are considering supporting this dude, in dealing with his "business". People like Rob should not get away with such disregard for other people whom he shows no empathy or respect. It's people like Rob who has created a day and age of waining trust and kindness. $80 Rob. $80! Hope it was worth it. But I dare say it won't be.
