"Great School. The Garlic bread is actually the best thing ever. They deal with bullying very seriously and are always happy to help. Would highly recommend."
"It was such a bad school some of my teachers were lovely but others made my life hell also the bullying was sooo bad physical/verbal were very common I know at least 6 kids who moved just because of the bullying and the teachers/principal did nothing but give them referral/detention. They don't care about mental health AT All they have two "counselors" that aren't even qualified to be counselors and who generally make you feel worse. Also they have no way of helping kids with mental disabilities (Autism, ADHD, etc) they say they "adjust" the tests but the "adjusted" tests are highlighted paragraphs with less writing no help at all also it's either that or they send the child out of the room and away from the other students. I was there for three years and I SWEAR it was three years of HELL. Do not send your child here"
"Lovely school, My mum has sent all her kids to the school, i think 2 hated it but that's because they were lazy and didn't do any work, but the school hours are too long, love their Galric bread but its annoying because u have to run to the canteen to get some garlic bread they should make more."
"What can I say about Xavier College.. well WORST school I have been to, and I have been to 8. Don’t get me wrong, I got straight A’s but the problem arose when I started being harassed by teachers and my mental health started to slowly progress into a large problem that it hadn’t been in a few years. I have been bullied my whole life, and when coming to Xavier I was originally told I wasn’t able to go to school there as I carried too much “emotional baggage” aka I had severe depression and high anxiety that they didn’t want to help me with. However, I had friends at Xavier and I was determined to have a better school life, so I fought to get a spot in the school. BIG MISTAKE. Don’t get me wrong the first two terms of my short lived 1 year at Xavier college were pure bliss, straight A’s, loved my teachers, had friends, but by term 3 it had all gone downhill, and this was all thanks to my not so lovely heads of staff. (if you’re reading this, you know who you are) I was forced to report misconduct by one of my house directors due to her wrongfully grabbing me, and I also later reported my oratory teacher for many reasons that multiple other students had the same concerns about. However instead of the school dealing with this, they decided to start not processing my assignments meaning I would fail classes, they would suspend me for “not making enough friends” and they called me in with my mum multiple times to harass and degrade me for hours. This obviously making my mental health no longer existent. And I ended up leaving Xavier with more trauma than when I started. I wouldn’t recommend Xavier to anyone with mental health problems as they will sweep you under the rug, and don’t think about reporting something that concerns you unless you want to be abused, and degraded everyday until you’re forced to leave as it becomes too much. Im so disappointed I wasn’t able to graduate this year due to the harassment I faced. So thank you Xavier for messing up my mental health and my education."
