K Resort Surfers Paradise

"This resort was the most disgusting premises I have ever stayed at. Dirty furniture, kitchen mostly non functional, filthy floors, paintwork chipped, biro marks all over the walls, the entire apartment needed sanitising and disinfecting. Noisy surroundings by residents. Holes in curtains. Dirt everywhere you looked. Not fit for human existence. Very expensive for a 3 star resort. It doesn't deserve a 1 star rating."

"My family and I booked this apartment for the convenience and location. My 19 month old daughter is very busy and active so we booked our apartment on the ground floor thinking it would be more accomodating. There is no lift access and even the pathways for the stroller were not accomodating. The information sheet given at time of check in states that the rooms must be left in the condition they were found. My daughter found a cigarette lighter and half eaten food in the side of one of the couches (which was covered by bed sheets) originally as the stains on the couch were very noticeable. The fridge/freezer was not cleaned. The floors and walls were not cleaned and the floor was average. Least to say we did not leave the room in the same state we found it. Except the cigarette lighter and food, that was left. We spoke to the owner and shows him all of the mess, and he said it was a housekeeping error. The amenities that were listed as available weren’t, and the overall cleanliness was very appalling. And last of all this building has rooms which have people living in them. This is fine, but the noise they make and the running around at night time is not. Very uncomfortable. Especially when you have young children. But the location is great."

"This place was absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t even let my dog stay in one of these units. There was blood all over the lounge room curtain and numerous other stains and splashes of grime throughout the unit, it was enough to make you sick. The dishwasher didn’t work, the balcony door and lock, there were no utensils in the kitchen or plates and cups and it was just generally filthy throughout. I recommend you stay somewhere else!"

"We stayed here for a week in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment wasn't modern but it was good for what it was. The price was really affordable and great location in surfers paradise. The pool and spa were nice and the private beach at the back was beautiful!! We also had a car parking space in the garage below. We will definitely stay here again."

"Our unit was clean, tidy and functional for what we needed. Great security access, so felt safe and our vehicle was secure at all times. Basic supplies in the kitchen for our meals and laundry facilities were great to have in our unit too. Would definitely consider staying here again and the price was well within our budget. Not far from the city centre of the coast which was handy."
