"Order the hot plate Wagyu beef and a tempura veg plus miso soup I would say 8/10 . The tempura dipping sauce supposed to have grated radish . Hot plate Wagyu less veg meat& sauce doesn’t go together. A bit pricey but overall is good ."

"I was impressed the first time I visited 14months ago so thought I'd try it again and they did not disappoint! Amazingly delicious food that was brought out in a very reasonable timeframe. It isn't the cheapest meal you'll find but it is absolutely worth it. And great range of drinks to accompany. Highly recommend."

"Just had sizzling seafood platter and it was very nice. However the portion was very small for $33. Could have eaten 5 platters by myself. But the most annoying part was paying. You have to literally bump and push your way in the store to be recognized by the cashier. I had people cut in front of me so I walked in front of the cashier so she knows that I am there to pay my bill but after serving other people that cut in front of me, she walks away!! Then she comes back and serves someone else. She purposely not served me until the end. By now I felt like just leaving. If she’s not going to take my money why wait? Customer service is terrible, rude and disorganized. I don’t post comments and rate too often but this one was not one of those to pass on."

"This used to be the best place in Coolangatta. The menu has changed. We had to ask for a drinks menu and ask to place our order. They just weren’t serving us. And the quality and variety has dropped (plus now they don’t specifically cater for gluten free options - when we asked what was gluten free now they seemed so annoyed we asked - used to have a dedicated gluten free menu with lots of options). We used to make the trip to Cooley just for O Sushi food, cocktails, atmosphere and service :("

"Osushi is a coolangatta institution, I can't even remember what was there beforehand but they've run the KFC across from them out of business for good reason (not just because the quality of El Colonel's dirty bird is nose diving) and that reason is their high quality food (although I am impartial to a few asahi draughts when I'm getting on the sauce). In addition... the wait staff have always been good and the prices are fair (although not as fair as KFC, although KFC doesn't have draught beer, I guess that might be a factor in their failings). The crowd highly recommends the Nasu Dendaku, Asahi and booking in advance.. kungpai kangpai or however you spell cheers in Japanese.. xxxx"
