Reviews of Robinson Park
"Beautiful new park (not nearly enough car bays for all the family events happening here regularly) Hopefully the locals keep it nice and dog owners pick up after their dogs."
"Updated review: While this is a very attractive park and looks very popular for kids and families at times it also has some quite confusing and downright stupid aspects to it. It is very pretty and very big. Has some goal posts (not two sets though) and a basketball hoop (but not a court) which just seems odd, but the oddness gets worse. As a dog owner I found the idea that it has an 'off-lead dog area' that has no fences, is smaller than the basketball area and is very literally right beside 4 lanes of Corfield Street is just bizarre, and monumentally bad planning. Instead there is a very large fenced area for the children playground... and they took the gates off it? There are very nice built-in barbeque facilities and yet, at about 6pm the lights come on and some genius planner put the lights most of the way under trees. Birds get plenty of light so they can do late night birding stuff, but it turns the rest of the park into an area that looks like it would be brilliant if you were making a living mugging people. There is a well maintained toilet facility near the child area that thankfully doesn't have any design flaws, and drink fountains around the park that also have dog drink stations. Unfortunately during the wet months a large part of Robinson Park turns into Robinson Swamp Pit and Mosquito Emporium. While proper drainage might be too little too late, they could perhaps address the other issues."
"Big adventure playground that received a $6.5M redevelopment in 2020. Fully fenced with lots of adventure, musical and nature based play. Toilets and BBQs available."
"Beautiful nature play park with some bbq facilities and picnic tables under cover. The playground is fenced off which is a huge positive for me."
"Nice park with a few tables, BBQ, basketball field, toilet and parking. Best of all is that is fenced, you can actually relax for a while. It has a few shades but is doesn't help that much on summer time."
