Save the Children Op Shop - Forrestfield
About the Business
Welcome to Save the Children Op Shop - Forrestfield! Located at 20 Strelitzia Avenue, our op shop offers much more than just retail therapy. As a book store and point of interest, we provide a unique shopping experience while contributing to a greater cause.
When you step into our op shop, you'll find a wide range of recycled fashion pieces, toys, books, and even vintage and modern day gems. Our dedicated volunteers ensure that you have a pleasant shopping experience while helping to create better lives for children in Australia and overseas.
At Save the Children, we prioritize sustainability and giving items a second life. Through our partnership with SCRgroup, we ensure that the clothing, handbags, manchester, and soft furnishings donated to our op shops have the opportunity for a new home. If these items can't be sold, they are either taken overseas to be re-homed, recycled into rags, or turned into biofuel.
Please note that we are unable to accept mattresses at our op shops. We rely on the support of volunteers to operate our stores, so our opening hours may vary depending on their availability. Stay updated on our work and how we are creating a world where every child has a safe and happy childhood.
By shopping at Save the Children Op Shop - Forrestfield, you not only find unique treasures but also contribute to our mission of improving the lives of children. Join us in making a difference today!

"Make sure you check your receipts and don’t expect ant loyalty points they don’t give them, didn’t realise I’d been over charged by the really rude women (until I got home)who took it personally when I complained that after trying to speak to somebody in the state that could explain where they were located I got an answering machine! The response was we don’t have a phone and they don’t give loyalty points because they don’t have a computer, I asked why not and was told they are a pop up…err yes over 2yrs now??? Shocking service all round…"
"Great range of books, friendly and helpful staff."
