"Unacceptable wait time in excess of six hours tonight. Renovations being done because they failed to consult staff in the planning of the hospital built only six years ago!"
"I had some bad experience with emergency department, I would like to share so they can improve this. I had a kidney stone, so there were a few times when there was too much pain, and I needed to visit an emergency for the same. 1. One day, I was in pain. I visited the emergency department, and they gave me 2 pain killer and asked me to wait at the lobby. After waiting for hours, I decided to leave the hospital because it was midnight. The next day, I received a call asking to pay $750 for 2 pain killers they gave. 2. I had a surgery and during the time of discharge they havent provided me prescription letter for medicine, so I visited emergency to let them know whey forgot to priovide prescription letter, they gave me prescription letter and next day I got invoice of $540. 3. Another day, I had a pain that I couldn't tolerate they took some test and admitted for 1 hour. The next day, I got a call. You have to pay $2500 because I was admitted for 1 hour. 4. Regarding the same treatment, I had an appointment with the doctor. They called me and said we were canceling the appointment, and the next day, I got an invoice of $350. I have gone through with this experience where they were sending me invoices for no reasons and I have to chase them all the time to request them to cancel the invoice. It's been a hussle and at times it was more painful than kidney stone."
"I'm writing this review from Emergency waiting area. I want to give 0 rating to this hospital Emergency. I got hit by a car and was into a bad accident. My left elbow is in bad condition, painful and sore. I have graze in my knee and I'm bleeding. Only they are giving me is Panadol and nurofen. I have waited 4+ hour and I'm here still in emergency. When I went and ask the nurse that how long is it gonna take. Is someone seeing me or am I only under the observation in this waiting area. She directly told me you have not broken your arm and you are not on priority list. Seriously??? That means I would have been in a priority list if I had broken my arms or if I was dead??? I'm a nurse myself and I don't give those kind of answers to my patient. And she just told me it's upto you what you want to do. I'm coming from a tragic accident where I'm still in shock and psychologically affected and they are giving me those answers. How unprofessional!!!!"
"Absolutely disgraceful service. Was in emergency for 7 hours, only to then be seen by an in experienced nurse . Got told that everything was fine, when i then went elsewhere and found out that i had four fractures. Very disappointed in the service and would certainly not recommend these guys if you are looking to get accurate results."
